Election Therapy From My Basket of Deplorables
The election was a complete repudiation of Barack Obama: his fantasy world of political correctness, the politicization of the Justice Department and the I.R.S., an out-of-control E.P.A., his neutering of the military, his nonsupport of the police and his fixation on things like transgender bathrooms. Since he became president, his party has lost 63 House seats, 10 Senate seats and 14 governorships.
The country had signaled strongly in the last two midterms that they were not happy. The Dems’ answer was to give them more of the same from a person they did not like or trust.
Preaching — and pandering — with a message of inclusion, the Democrats have instead become a party where incivility and bad manners are taken for granted, rudeness is routine, religion is mocked and there is absolutely no respect for a differing opinion. This did not go down well in the Midwest, where Trump flipped three blue states and 44 electoral votes.
The rudeness reached its peak when Vice President-elect Mike Pence was booed by attendees of “Hamilton” and then pompously lectured by the cast. This may play well with the New York theater crowd but is considered boorish and unacceptable by those of us taught to respect the office of the president and vice president, if not the occupants.
Here is a short primer for the young protesters. If your preferred candidate loses, there is no need for mass hysteria, canceled midterms, safe spaces, crying rooms or group primal screams. You might understand this better if you had not received participation trophies, undeserved grades to protect your feelings or even if you had a proper understanding of civics. The Democrats are now crying that Hillary had more popular votes. That can be her participation trophy.
If any of my sons had told me they were too distraught over a national election to take an exam, I would have brought them home the next day, fearful of the instruction they were receiving. Not one of the top 50 colleges mandate one semester of Western Civilization. Maybe they should rethink that.
Mr. Trump received over 62 million votes, not all of them cast by homophobes, Islamaphobes, racists, sexists, misogynists or any other “ists.” I would caution Trump deniers that all of the crying and whining is not good preparation for the coming storm. The liberal media, both print and electronic, has lost all credibility. I am reasonably sure that none of the mainstream print media had stories prepared for a Trump victory. I watched the networks and cable stations in their midnight meltdown — embodied by Rachel Maddow explaining to viewers that they were not having a “terrible, terrible dream” and that they had not died and “gone to hell.”
The media’s criticism of Trump’s high-level picks as “not diverse enough” or “too white and male” — a day before he named two women and offered a cabinet position to an African-American — magnified this fact.
Here is a final word to my Democratic friends. The election is over. There will not be a do-over. So let me bid farewell to Al Sharpton, Ben Rhodes and the Clintons. Note to Cher, Barbra, Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham: Your plane is waiting. And to Jon Stewart, who talked about moving to another planet: Your spaceship is waiting. To Bruce Springsteen, Jay Z, Beyoncé and Katy Perry, thanks for the free concerts. And finally, to all the foreign countries that contributed to the Clinton Foundation, there will not be a payoff or a rebate.
As Eddie Murphy so eloquently stated in the movie “48 Hrs.”: “There’s a new sheriff in town.” And he is going to be here for 1,461 days. Merry Christmas.

Trump as our next president, and the electoral college.
My take on the choice of Trump as our next president, and the electoral college.
Have you ever been one of those people who rooted for the underdog? Go ahead and admit it, you have done that. I could give you a list of over 100 movies and best selling novels that prove that to be true. Everyone loves an underdog who is truly a winner even when faced with the prospect of losing, and especially when the odds are so great against the possibility of a win. Donald Trump meets that criteria. There was absoloutely no chance that he could be the republican's choice to run for president.
We were not even sure of his own political leanings. What we did know was; Number 1), He is not a politician. That fact alone was enough to cause many to write him off before he even declared for the race. That is a strike against him in the minds of those who decipher politics for a living.
Then number 2), He was written off by the media even before the first day of the primaries. He is brash, he is plain spoken and when he is through speaking there is no mistaking what he means. He hates "doublespeak" and political blather.
Number 3), There is the fact that he is, (regardless of how he got his start), a billionaire. No one with that status has ever even bothered to think of running for president. And that fact alone introduces some intrigue into the situation. The question on some of our minds was; Why on earth would he do that, he has no experience at such things. They, (the media and the politicians), will eat him alive.
So we know these three things about him. He is not a politician, he has no media support, and he is a billionaire who can provide his own backing. These three things alone are clues that he cannot make it, or will drop out because of no support, or the big issue, why waste his money on some wild goose chase that has no readily discernable benefits. However there is this one thing.... "Make America Great Again".
What many thought was a joke (literally) and were willing to go on nationwide TV and say, was that "Donald Trump will never be the president of the United States of America period". And as Obama did, "Drop the mike" All of them have had to develop a taste for "CROW"
Well maybe a look back at some of the history of this country will explain a bit of the mystery that so many feel is unexplainable. This country was born of war, we have a history that starts literally with a losing cause. The pilgrims came to this country with almost no chance of survival, to escape an oppressive government. To set sail from europe, for a country that little was known about, in wooden ships which had very little chance of making the journey was at best a risky proposition. And which would turn out to be the end of life from disease for so many, and even those who survived were hard pressed to see anything but a future of hard work and eventual failure. It was only through the perseverance and suffering of a determined people who were deeply comitted to God and the faith of true believers that survival was even a remote prospect.
Fortunately, the help they so desperately needed for survival came from what could only be called a band of friendly native "Indians" Pepole who had learned how to cope and to live off the land. So that is what our first settelers did, they won that battle against insurmountable odds with the help of God, their faith, and the natives who had setteled in this country eons ago.

No one can prove the Russians did or did not influence the election. So who cares, the Russians probably have hacked into various security systems and various e mails. Everyone knows our security systems are vulnerable. If they weren't, how is it that Wikileaks does what it does. If they can do it anyone else can too. Why is that such a big problem? I'll tell you why. Congress is afraid that Trump is going to get into their private play pen and expose all the lies they tell us, and reveal where all the money goes. Where is that? into their own pockets. Otherwise would any right thinking congress have let the Obama's spend over 85 million dollars on vacations, one about every two and a half months for eight years. and the golf he has played at about a million bucks a pop. Yeah they are afraid Trump will end all the B.S. and discover all the personal perks they enjoy. I say let it happen. The squawkers will all reveal themselves and Trump will find out who his enemies are.

The bipartisan bill, which was introduced by Senators Portman and Murphy in March, will improve the ability of the United States to counter foreign propaganda and disinformation by establishing an interagency center housed at the State Department to coordinate and synchronize counter-propaganda efforts throughout the U.S. government. To support these efforts, the bill also creates a grant program for NGOs, think tanks, civil society and other experts outside government who are engaged in counter-propaganda related work. This will better leverage existing expertise and empower local communities to defend themselves from foreign manipulation.
“The passage of this bill in the Senate today takes us one critical step closer to effectively confronting the extensive, and destabilizing, foreign propaganda and disinformation operations being waged against us. While the propaganda and disinformation threat has grown, the U.S. government has been asleep at the wheel. Today we are finally signaling that enough is enough; the United States will no longer sit on the sidelines. We are going to confront this threat head-on,” said Senator Portman. “With the help of this bipartisan bill, the disinformation and propaganda used against our allies and our interests will fail.”
“Congress has taken a big step in fighting back against fake news and propaganda from countries like Russia. When the president signs this bill into law, the United States will finally have a dedicated set of tools and resources to confront our adversaries’ widespread efforts to spread false narratives that undermine democratic institutions and compromise America’s foreign policy goals,” said Murphy. “I’m proud of what Senator Portman and I accomplished here because it’s long past time for the U.S. to get off the sidelines and confront these growing threats.”
NOTE: The bipartisan Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act is organized around two main priorities to help achieve the goal of combatting the constantly evolving threat of foreign disinformation. They are as follows:
The first priority is developing a whole-of-government strategy for countering foreign propaganda and disinformation. The bill would increase the authority, resources, and mandate of the Global Engagement Center to include state actors like Russia and China in addition to violent extremists. The Center will be led by the State Department, but with the active senior level participation of the Department of Defense, USAID, the Broadcasting Board of Governors, the Intelligence Community, and other relevant agencies. The issues we face as a nation stem from one man.

This man, 18-year-old Abdul Artan, injured 11 people yesterday at Ohio State University. Their lives will never be the same. There is no question Artan is a terrorist - authorities saying his computer has all kinds of rotten stuff on it. But how exactly did he get to America and to Ohio State University? According to good work by Fox and CBS News, Artan and his family left Somalia in 2007, taking up residence at a refugee camp in Pakistan. That's not unusual. Somalia is a failed state with terrorism everywhere. The family stayed in Pakistan for seven years before the Obama administration allowed it to emigrate legally to the USA.
Since 9/11, about 100,000 Somalis have done that. The Artan family was flown into Dallas, Texas where the Fox affiliate picks up the story: Catholic Charities contracts with the federal government to help refugees get an apartment, enroll in school and get access to healthcare. Catholic Charities does not pick the refugees - instead they are vetted by the State Department and its Office of Refugee Resettlement determines where they go.”

It's About Time
TIME FOR CHANGE

This wasn’t an election. It was a revolution.
It’s midnight in America. The day before fifty million Americans got up and stood in front of the great iron wheel that had been grinding them down. They stood there even though the media told them it was useless. They took their stand even while all the chattering classes laughed and taunted them.
They were fathers who couldn’t feed their families anymore. They were mothers who couldn’t afford health care. They were workers whose jobs had been sold off to foreign countries. They were sons who didn’t see a future for themselves. They were daughters afraid of being murdered by the “unaccompanied minors” flooding into their towns. They took a deep breath and they stood.
They held up their hands and the great iron wheel stopped.
The Great Blue Wall crumbled. The impossible states fell one by one. Ohio. Wisconsin. Pennsylvania. Iowa. The white working class that had been overlooked and trampled on for so long got to its feet. It rose up against its oppressors and the rest of the nation, from coast to coast, rose up with it.
They fought back against their jobs being shipped overseas while their towns filled with migrants that got everything while they got nothing. They fought back against a system in which they could go to jail for a trifle while the elites could violate the law and still stroll through a presidential election. They fought back against being told that they had to watch what they say. They fought back against being held in contempt because they wanted to work for a living and take care of their families.
They fought and they won.
This wasn’t a vote. It was an uprising. Like the ordinary men chipping away at the Berlin Wall, they tore down an unnatural thing that had towered over them. And as they watched it fall, they marveled at how weak and fragile it had always been. And how much stronger they were than they had ever known.
Who were these people? They were leftovers and flyover country. They didn’t have bachelor degrees and had never set foot in a Starbucks. They were the white working class. They didn’t talk right or think right. They had the wrong ideas, the wrong clothes and the ridiculous idea that they still mattered.
They were wrong about everything. Illegal immigration? Everyone knew it was here to stay. Black Lives Matter? The new civil rights movement. Manufacturing? As dead as the dodo. Banning Muslims? What kind of bigot even thinks that way? Love wins. Marriage loses. The future belongs to the urban metrosexual and his dot com, not the guy who used to have a good job before it went to China or Mexico.
They couldn’t change anything. A thousand politicians and pundits had talked of getting them to adapt to the inevitable future. Instead they got in their pickup trucks and drove out to vote.
And they changed everything.
Barack Hussein Obama boasted that he had changed America. A billion regulations, a million immigrants, a hundred thousand lies and it was no longer your America. It was his.
He was JFK and FDR rolled into one. He told us that his version of history was right and inevitable.
And they voted and left him in the dust. They walked past him and they didn’t listen. He had come to campaign to where they still cling to their guns and their bibles. He came to plead for his legacy.
And America said, “No.”
Fifty millions Americans repudiated him. They repudiated the Obamas and the Clintons. They ignored the celebrities. They paid no attention to the media. They voted because they believed in the impossible. And their dedication made the impossible happen.
Americans were told that walls couldn’t be built and factories couldn’t be opened. That treaties couldn’t be unsigned and wars couldn’t be won. It was impossible to ban Muslim terrorists from coming to America or to deport the illegal aliens turning towns and cities into gangland territories.
It was all impossible. And fifty million Americans did the impossible. They turned the world upside down.
It’s midnight in America. CNN is weeping. MSNBC is wailing. ABC calls it a tantrum. NBC damns it. It wasn’t supposed to happen. The same machine that crushed the American people for two straight terms, the mass of government, corporations and non-profits that ran the country, was set to win.
Instead the people stood in front of the machine. They blocked it with their bodies. They went to vote even though the polls told them it was useless. They mailed in their absentee ballots even while Hillary Clinton was planning her fireworks victory celebration. They looked at the empty factories and barren farms. They drove through the early cold. They waited in line. They came home to their children to tell them that they had done their best for their future. They bet on America. And they won.
They won improbably. And they won amazingly.
They were tired of ObamaCare. They were tired of unemployment. They were tired of being lied to. They were tired of watching their sons come back in coffins to protect some Muslim country. They were tired of being called racists and homophobes. They were tired of seeing their America disappear.
And they stood up and fought back. This was their last hope. Their last chance to be heard.
Watch fifty million Americans take back their country.
The media had the election wrong all along. This wasn’t about personalities. It was about the impersonal. It was about fifty million people whose names no one except a server will ever know fighting back. It was about the homeless woman guarding Trump’s star. It was about the lost Democrats searching for someone to represent them in Ohio and Pennsylvania. It was about the union men who nodded along when the organizers told them how to vote, but who refused to sell out their futures.
No one will ever interview all those men and women. We will never see all their faces. But they are us and we are them. They came to the aid of a nation in peril. They did what real Americans have always done. They did the impossible.
America is a nation of impossibilities. We exist because our forefathers did not take no for an answer. Not from kings or tyrants. Not from the elites who told them that it couldn’t be done.
The day when we stop being able to pull off the impossible is the day that America will cease to exist.
Today is not that day. Today fifty million Americans did the impossible.
Midnight has passed. A new day has come. And everything is about to change.

About Climate Change, Your Change Sir
Paris, COP21 Climate Summit – One of the most dangerous men of the Twentieth Century has just died: and the weird thing is, hardly anyone noticed.
His name was Maurice Strong (picture above, on the right), Canadian billionaire, diplomat and UN apparatchik, and though you may not have heard of him, he probably did more to make your world a more expensive, inconvenient, overregulated, hectored, bullied, lied-to, sclerotic, undemocratic place than anyone post Hitler, Stalin and (his personal friend) Mao.
He’s the reason for example, that most of the world’s leaders, 40,000 delegates and their attendant carbon mega-footprint descended here on Paris yesterday in order to talk about magical fairy dust for two weeks and then charge you $1.5 trillion (that’s per year, by the way) for the privilege.
He’s the reason that “climate change” is now so heavily embedded within our system of global governance that it is now almost literally impossible for any politician or anyone else whose career depends on the state to admit that’s it not a problem and to argue that there are more important issues in the world, like maybe the terrorism that killed over 130 innocent people just the other week now, where was it?- oh yeah, here in Paris where for some bizarre reason all the delegates are talking about carbon emissions instead…

In his 2000 autobiography Where Are We Going? he projected that by 2031 two thirds of the world’s population might have been wiped out. This, he chillingly described as:
“A glimmer of hope for the future of our species and its potential for regeneration.”
See: it’s perfectly OK to fantasize about the deaths of maybe 5 billion people – as long as you show at the end that you really care: you’re thinking about the future of humanity.
Strong sincerely believed all this Malthusian stuff and that was the problem. It became our problem because unfortunately – see that charm, above – he was such a skilled operator, with an endless appetite for labyrinthine bureaucracy and the will to embed it in the system.
The United Nations, which he joined early in 1947 as a lowly assistant pass officer in the Identification Unit of the Security Section in New York, was his perfect playground.
It was where, he quickly realized, he could achieve his dream of a world of global governance by a self-appointed elite. And the best way to go about this, he understood, was by manipulating and exploiting international concern about the environment.
Strong was never shy of admitting what he was about:
“Our concept of ballot box democracy may need to be modified to produce strong governments capable of making difficult decisions, particularly in terms of safeguarding the global environment.”
Or, as he put it when he’d wormed his way through the system to the position of Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in 1991:
Current lifestyle and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning and surburban housing – are not sustainable. A shift is necessary which will require a vast strengthening of the multilateral system, including the United Nations.
This was the purpose of the Rio Earth Summit – and on the non-binding but secretly deadly agreement Strong managed to gull 179 sovereign nations into signing: Agenda 21.
If you don’t know about Agenda 21, you should. This final quote from Strong will give you an idea how illiberal and undemocratic it is – a blueprint for one-world government by an unelected bureaucracy of technocrats, enabled by diehard progressive activists.
The concept of national sovereignty has been an immutable, indeed sacred, principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental co-operation. It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation states, however powerful. The global community must be assured of global environmental security.
Now perhaps you understand why the people in the world most saddened by Maurice Strong’s death are currently all at Le Bourget on the outskirts of Paris at COP21, plotting the new world order.

He’s the reason for example, that most of the world’s leaders, 40,000 delegates and their attendant carbon mega-footprint descended here on Paris yesterday in order to talk about magical fairy dust for two weeks and then charge you $1.5 trillion (that’s per year, by the way) for the privilege.
He’s the reason that “climate change” is now so heavily embedded within our system of global governance that it is now almost literally impossible for any politician or anyone else whose career depends on the state to admit that’s it not a problem and to argue that there are more important issues in the world, like maybe the terrorism that killed over 130 innocent people just the other week now, where was it?- oh yeah, here in Paris where for some bizarre reason all the delegates are talking about carbon emissions instead…

What can Trump do? read it and cry, or read it and cheer
I didn't vote for Trump because I thought he would make a good president, I voted for him because because I knew that Hillary would not. I kept praying that God would put the right person in the White House...His person. I told Him that I would honor, follow and pray for His choice. After reading this article, I feel good about our new president elect and the choice I made at the polls. I will continue to pray for him as he faces the most important decision he has ever made.
What has Trump done??
Last night a friend claimed that Donald Trump wouldn’t make a good president; he is brash, he is racist, he is a loudmouth; you know the normal things people learn to recite after being programmed by television news.
The one I loved was that, “Trump is arrogant.”
My friend questioned if one man could make “that much difference in the world today.” To my friend's credit, she was respectful enough to let me respond when she asked, “Really, what has Trump done?”
I said, “In June of last year, Trump entered the race for president. In just a little over a year, Trump has single handedly defeated the Republican party.
He did so thoroughly. In fact, he did so in such a resounding way that the Republican Party now suffers from an identity crisis. He literally dismantled the party. Trump even dismantled and dismissed the brand and value of the Bush family.
Trump has Obama petrified that Trump will dismiss programs that weren’t properly installed using proper law.
Trump has single handedly debunked and disemboweled any value of news media as we knew it—news now suffering from an all-time level of distrust and disrespect.
Trump has leaders from all over the world talking about him, whether good or bad. Trust me, powerful men who have been president before weren’t liked by the global community. I doubt Mikhail Gorbachev liked Reagan when Reagan said, "Tear down that wall."
Trump has expressly disclosed the fraud perpetrated on the American public by Hillary Clinton. He has, quite literally, brought Hillary to her knees—if you believe that nervous tension and disorders offer physical side effects and damage.
Trump has unified the silent majority in a way that should be patently frightening to “liberals.” As the press accuses Trump of being a house of cards, Trump has proven the press is the real house of cards. He has whipped up the entire establishment into pure panic. Trump has exposed them for who they are and worse, what they are. George Clooney was right when he said Trump draws live news coverage of his podium that he’s not yet approached. Thanks, George, you were perfectly correct.
What we see as headline news today are actually the last bubbles from the ship that is now sunk—meaning the standard news media, as a propaganda machine, has been exposed. They have no more value.
In the same way Trump asked the African-American community this question, I asked you my friend, ”At this point, what do you have to lose?” We have mass cop shootings, riots in our streets, ambushed cops, double digit inflation, bombs blowing up in our cities, targeted police, a skyrocketing jobless rate, no economic growth, privately owned land being seized by the federal government, the worst racial tension in my lifetime, no God in schools, more abortions than ever, illegal aliens pouring into our country, sick veterans receiving no care, and a debt that doubled in seven years to $19 trillion. Are you really happy with the condition of the current system?
One man has done all of this in one year—one guy, and on his own dime. And with everything I’ve written above, you believe Trump hasn't done anything? You claim that you are afraid of Donald Trump? No wonder we’re in trouble.
You can say that Trump is a lousy presidential candidate. That’s your right. Just don’t ever say he’s not effective.
That Megan Kelly, FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Huffington Post, the New York Times, Raleigh’s News and Observer, the AP, Don Lemon, Jake Tapper, and many more, failed to implement their collectively orchestrated lie on the American people against Trump, is actually a massive testament to Trump. The press colluded pure propaganda to accomplish his demise … and they have collectively failed and miserably.
Here's just one example of how badly America is injured right now. There are high school football players on their knees during the national anthem simply because the press used as propaganda to program those kids to do that very thing. But, these kids are mimicking NFL stars the same way the same kids choose which brand of football shoe to purchase—they're overtly brain-washed to do that very thing.
Now, we have a generation of children who hate America.
America’s problem isn’t that little children are on their knee in collective disrespect of America. Our problem is that America is on her knee from collective disrespect by Americans.
You can disrespect America all you want. But, it’s high-time you respect the silent majority. Because they’re not simply the “silent majority” as you’ve been trained to believe when Hillary calls them “deplorables.” The fact is, they are simply the majority. And now they're no longer silent either. Donald Trump changed all of that, single-handedly and within one year."

* His interaction with his older brother (who everybody loved) tells
me that he thinks that everybody is like him - or wants to be - or should be.
* His relationship with his older brother was a hard lesson in
tolerance for him.
* Trump is the Babe Ruth of career achievements.
* He is dumb like a fox. When you think he just said something
stupid - he didn't. It's just that you were not his target audience.
* Trump knows the people - the folk.
* His son, Donald Jr. is right. Trump is a "Blue Collar
Billionaire".
* More than anything, his TV show, The Apprentice, was his passion.
He wants all Americans to have confidence (like he does) to venture.
* Donald Trump is attracted to and marries smart, high achieving
women.
* The highest levels of a Trump Administration is certain to have
many women - and they will be bright and assertive.
* Donald Trump's children are very important to him. And it shows.
PS. And we know almost nothing about our current
president with 2 terms in office.

Can you even begin to imagine what President-Elect Donald Trump now can do to make America great again?
He has the White House.
He has a clear mandate for his entire agenda because he explicitly articulated every one of his leadership priorities, even if he sometimes was incomplete on details.
He has 52 United States senators.
He may have lost Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, but next month's Louisiana Senate runoff will net him the 52nd Republican.
He also may find that West Virginia 's Joe Manchin switches parties in the next year, like a reverse Arlen Specter, because Barack Obama, the transformative president, has transformed West Virginia from a Democrat stronghold into one of the reddest states in America. Manchin may be figuring out that his political career is finished in two years if he runs as a Democrat against a pro-coal, pro-energy Trump.
Trump has the House of Representatives solidly.
He has approximately ten Democrat senators terrified because they come up for re-election in two years and are in GOP-friendly states. There's Joe Donnelly in Indiana, which just sent Evan Bayh back to lobbying in Washington. There's Claire McCaskill of Missouri, a state that just re-elected Roy Blunt and changed governors from Democrat to Republican. There's Jon Tester of Montana – it does not get redder than Montana. There's Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota; Sherrod Brown of Ohio, which just gave Rob Portman a twenty-plus-point mandate; and Joe Manchin. Others like Bill Nelson in Florida and Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin are vulnerable. These senators will be running scared these next two years. (Expect to see much too much of McCaskill on Fox News.)
With the Supreme Court knotted at 4-4, Trump has an immediate vacancy to fill, the seat previously held by the late Justice Antonin Scalia. Meanwhile, Justices Ruth Ginsburg, Anthony Kennedy, and Stephen Breyer all are in their sunset season.
One must assume that * IRS commissioner John Koskinen will be deducted from the Internal Revenue Service. That would open the door for the IRS to investigate the * Clinton Foundation in the same way that the New York attorney general investigates Trump operations.
Trump also can launch an investigation into what exactly * Lois Lerner did and whether others aided and abetted her. In addition, Trump now can make critical changes to the Tax Code – and that always was Paul Ryan's dream.
With all the tools of government at his back, a Pres. Trump now can * CANCEL all the Obama executive orders as fast as counting "1-2-3."
For the Democrats, it is an inconvenient truth that all the Obama climate agreements and trade agreements and Iran deals that he chose not to present to the Congress as treaties for ratification, but rather enshrined as personal executive orders, now can be neutralized by the incoming executive.
Trump now can secure the border, can build a big beautiful wall with a big door.
He can repeal Obamacare.
* Suddenly, men no longer will have to pay for themselves to be covered for pregnancy conditions.
* We no longer will have to pay for Sandra Fluke's birth control.
* Employers will not have to limit full-time employees to 29-hour employment.
* Doctors will stop retiring from practice.
* People with coverage will have reasonable insurance deductibles, and their premiums will stop rising forty percent a year.
* It will be possible to buy better, cheaper insurance coverage offered in other states.
* A President Trump, with a Republican Congress, now can cut off funding to sanctuary cities.
* He can drain the swamp that festers in the Eric Holder-Loretta Lynch Justice Department.
* He can relieve FBI director James Comey from getting embroiled in political investigations by allowing for the appointment of special investigators to find out what happened in this country during the past eight years of corruption.
* He can keep Gitmo open.
* He can move America's Israel embassy to that country's capital city, Jerusalem. All embassies belong in capital cities. Congress already has passed the enabling legislation. All he has to do is just do it.
* He can ask Rick Perry for the names of those three federal agencies to close down. As a start, he not only can deal with Common Core, but can begin the process of permanently closing down the entire federal Department of Education and returning that role to the states.
* He can send Loretta Lynch home, even arranging for her to catch a flight on an Arizona tarmac, and she can discuss grandchildren and golfing with the TSA as she goes through security.
How do these sound:
* Attorney General Chris Christie? *Secretary of Homeland Security Rudy Giuliani? * Secretary of State John Bolton? * Secretary of Defense Jeff Sessions? * Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Flynn? White House Communications Director Kellyanne Conway? * Gotta give Newt something. Also Reince Priebus, who ultimately stood with him during difficult times. And Dr. Ben Carson. Maybe make Newt the ambassador to the United Nations. He deserves it, the U.N. deserves it, and Megyn Kelly deserves it.
As a cautionary, Trump may enter office with one huge headache. If the Fed finally starts to allow interest rates to rise according to market forces, as it soon must, the impact on the $19-trillion debt will be devastating and will force major budget decisions. So that will be tough and could ruin some of his infrastructure and other spending plans. However, it also will chasten Republicans to avoid building bridges to nowhere. This time, the GOP had better get it right.
There is reason to be deeply hopeful that, with the election concluded, the rhetoric on all sides will soften, the intensity of feelings will diminish, and many people will give the new president a few weeks' "honeymoon" to see what he can do. He began beautifully with the acceptance speech he made, praising Hillary for her lifetime of service and congratulating her and her team for the contest they made. He did not mean a word of it, nor did he have to. It was a touch of class.
His proven instincts and experience as a lifetime deal-maker hopefully will lead him to find ways to work productively with Congress and to avoid unnecessary bipartisan animus now that he has won his prize. Naturally, a President Trump will advance agenda item steps that inevitably will cause disagreements. If he reverses executive orders, upends the * Iran Deal, * repeals Obamacare, etc., he will face opposition- There is no avoiding that!
Nevertheless, a President Trump with a supportive Congress and judiciary potentially may do a great job. The public exposures of his seamier past hopefully have humbled him. He surely does not want to have that side of his past revived and made his legacy. He surely does not want to lose this wife or to lose the respect of his beautiful children any further. With Trump. there are bound to be painful lapses because, at age 70, he is what he is – but he also will start focusing, soon enough, on building a record that can get him re-elected. That swamp cannot be drained in less than a decade. Hopefully he also will use a serious portion of the four years to extend serious outreach efforts to black Americans and Latinos, to women, and to other groups who have been used and manipulated by Democrats, Hollywood , the mainstream media, and the left for half a century.
Non-Caucasians will come to see that the media lied about him, that he is not that racist misogynist that the racists and misogynists in the Democratic Party and the media painted him as being. And hopefully he will be a president who avoids getting enmeshed in every local imbroglio, from Trayvon Martin to an arrest of a man thought to be breaking into a home.
There is reason to hope that so much of Donald Trump's nonsense this past year – Little Marco, Lyin' Ted, Low Energy Jeb! – was part of his Brooklyn-street-smart strategy for getting to the front of the pack. Now that he is there, he has time to realize that he no longer has to street-fight. He now has the prize. He will be surrounded by teams of intelligent people who will offer him guidance. There is reason to hope that, barring unexpected world crises, he will surprise many people by governing wisely and sensibly. And if crises arise, he may prove exactly the commander in chief needed.
PS. And we know almost nothing about our current
president with 2 terms in office. We still have no certain truth about his patriotism, who he favors, not even if he is an American. He has numerous Social security numbers, birth certificates, and professes to come down on the side of Islam in a conflict, etc. the stuff we do know about him is vague and uncertain, rather nebulous.

Judicial Watch Uncovers Clinton Emails With Pay to Play Revelations
Remember how Hillary Clinton repeatedly assured us all that she had turned over all work-related emails? And that she avoided any conflicts of interest with her Clinton Foundation?
Well, this week we released 296 pages of State Department records containing 44 email exchanges not previously turned over to the State Department. This brings the known total to 171 of new Clinton emails that were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over. These records further appear to contradict statements by Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department.
The new documents reveal that in April 2009 controversial Clinton Foundation official Doug Band pushed for a job for an associate. In the email, Band tells Hillary Clinton’s former aides at the State Department, Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, that it is “important to take care of [Redacted]. Band is reassured by Abedin that, “Personnel has been sending him options.” Band was co-founder of Teneo Strategy with Bill Clinton and a top official of the Clinton Foundation, including its Clinton Global Initiative.
Included is a 2009 email in which Band directs Abedin and Mills to put Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire and Clinton Foundation donor Gilbert Chagoury in touch with the State Department’s “substance person” on Lebanon. Band notes that Chagoury is “key guy there [Lebanon] and to us,” and insists that Abedin call Amb. Jeffrey Feltman to connect him to Chagoury.
Chagoury, a foreign national, is a close friend of former President Bill Clinton and a top donor to the Clinton Foundation. He has appeared near the top of the Foundation’s donor list as a $1 million to $5 million contributor, according to foundation documents. He also pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative. According to a 2010 investigation by PBS Frontline, Chagoury was convicted in 2000 in Switzerland for laundering money from Nigeria, but agreed to a plea deal and repaid $66 million to the Nigerian government.
Clinton’s top aides’ favors for and interactions with the Clinton Foundation seem in violation of the ethics agreements that Hillary Clinton agreed to in order to be appointed and confirmed as Secretary of State. For example, Secretary of State-designate Hillary Clinton on January 5, 2009, wrote in a letter to State Department Designated Agency Ethics Official James H. Thessin:
“For the duration of my appointment as Secretary if I am confirmed, I will not participate personally and substantially in any particular matter involving specific parties in which The William J. Clinton Foundation (or the Clinton Global Initiative) is a party or represents a party….”
As preparation for Hillary’s upcoming visit to Asia, Stephen Roach, chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia, on Feb. 11, 2009, sends Hillary a copy of his upcomingtestimony before Congress in which he would condemn any U.S. efforts to criticize Chinese monetary policy or enact trade barriers. Several days later, Hillary asked Abedin about Roach possibly “connecting” with her while she was in Beijing: “I forwarded you my email to him about connecting in Beijing. Can he come to the embassy or other event?” Morgan Stanley is a long-time financial supporter of the Clintons.
The emails also reveal that Abedin left then-Secretary Clinton’s daily schedule, a presumably sensitive document, on a bed in an unlocked hotel room. An email on April 18, 2009, during a conference in Trinidad and Tobago, from aide Melissa J. Lan to Huma Abedin asks for the Secretary’s “day book binders.” Abedin replies: “Yes. It’s on the bed in my room. U can take it. My door is open. I’m in the lobby.Thx.” Moreover, the emails show the annoyance of another Clinton aide that the schedule was sent to an authorized State Department email address and not to an unsecured non-state.gov account.
The emails reveal that Clinton campaign adviser and pollster Mark Penn advised Clinton on NATO and piracy. Another major Clinton fundraiser, Lana Moresky, also pushed Clinton to hire someone for a position at State. Clinton directed Abedin to follow up and “help” the applicant and told Abedin to “let me know” about the job issue.
The emails show that Hillary Clinton relied on someone named “Justin ” (presumably Justin Cooper, a Bill Clinton and Clinton Foundation employee), to set up her cell phone voicemail, rather than having State Department personnel handle it. This was in a February 11, 2009, email from Clinton aide Lauren Jiloty to Clinton, using Clinton’s hdr22@clintonmail.com address.
This is the ninth set of records produced for Judicial Watch by the State Department from the non-state.gov email accounts of Huma Abedin.
The documents were produced under a court order in a May 5, 2015, Freedom of Information (FOIA) lawsuit against the State Department (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684)) requiring the agency to produce “all emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013, using a ‘non-state’.gov email address.”
It’s no wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress. They show that the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, and operatives worked with Hillary Clinton in potential violation of the law.
These revelations have created a national firestorm in the media, as even the liberal media grasp the significance of the Clinton Foundation’s pay for play relationship with the Clinton State Department. See these major stories in the New York Post and The New York Times or this major editorial in the Wall Street Journal.
The Journal also had a good video story featuring JW here and Fox News covered us as well. (Even the major networks couldn’t ignore this story!).

Stealing Elections?
We have joined with the Allied Educational Foundation (AEF) in filing an amici curiae brief with the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit arguing that the court should reverse a lower court that struck down an Ohio law shortening the state’s absentee voting period from 35 to 29 days (Ohio Democratic Party v. Husted (No. 16-3561).
This reduction had the effect of eliminating the inaptly named “Golden Week,” a period of early voting in which Ohioans could also register to vote.
Ohio requires all voters to register 30 days before the election. It allows all voters to vote absentee over a 29-day period. It also gives all voters 13 hours to vote on election day.
The district court decided that a reduction in early voting from 35 to 29 days would disproportionately burden African Americans because of the reduction of opportunities to vote.
However, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio also found that any actual effect the law might have on minority registration or turnout would be “modest”:
“[A]lthough the Court cannot predict how many African Americans will turn out in future elections, it is reasonable to conclude from this evidence that their right to vote will be modestly burdened by S.B. 238’s reduction in the EIP [early in-person] voting period and elimination of SDR [same day registration].”
The Judicial Watch/AEF brief cites studies that contradict this assumption. A 2013 study by Barry C. Burden and co-authors, published in the American Journal of Political Science, study found that:
It seems logical that making voting more convenient . . . will encourage more people to cast ballots. We challenge this notion and show that the most popular reform – early voting – actually decreases turnout when implemented by itself, an unanticipated consequence that has significant implications for policy and for theories of how state governments can influence turnout. This result is counterintuitive, and it certainly runs against the grain of conventional wisdom.
A June 2016 report from the General Accounting Office (GAO) about the “depressant effect” of early voting found:
We reviewed 20 studies from 12 publications, and these studies had varied findings. Seven studies found no statistically significant effect, another 8 studies found that the policy decreased turnout, and 5 studies reported mixed evidence. Reported effects from these studies ranged from a 3.8 percentage point decrease in turnout to a 3.1 percentage point increase. [Emphasis added]
Judicial Watch and AEF conclude that:
It is, then, a serious, open question as to whether the elimination of early voting will lead to lower voter turnout. Because the plaintiffs have failed to present persuasive evidence establishing the likely effect of early voting on voter turnout, they have not met their burden of establishing their claims by a preponderance of the evidence. Amici respectfully submit that judgment, therefore, should be entered for the defendants.
In the alternative, this case should be remanded to the district court for further findings on the specific issue of the probable effect of the requested injunction on voter turnout in subsequent elections.

Amici respectfully submit that this Court should not affirm the judgment of the district court. If it were to do so, this Court risks issuing a judgment that is not only wrong, but perverse, in that it might lead to lower voter turnout in direct contravention of one of the basic purposes of the Voting Rights Act.
Early voting is a bad public policy that increases costs, increases the likelihood of fraud, and confuses voters – leading to depressed voter turnout. It is absurd and dishonest to suggest racism being behind the sensible reform of cutting early voting down from a ridiculous 35 days before Election Day.

The New York 'Whitewater'
An incisive new expose our Investigative Bulletin charges that New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, real estate developer Bruce Ratner, and Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton are key players in a “new Tammany Hall” that manipulates billions of dollars of public funds into vast private profits.
Micah Morrison, our chief investigative reporter, wrote the report. It provides a roadmap to how New York City’s controversial Atlantic Yards development project became what Morrison terms “a giant boondoggle generating torrents of cash for well-connected insiders.” Among the highlights of the Morrison piece:
Real estate developer and Democratic Party heavyweight Bruce Ratner is the central figure in the battles over Atlantic Yards. Smart, tough and tireless, Ratner has courted controversy with unfulfilled promises of public benefits, multi-million-dollar paydays, and links to crooked politicians and their enablers. Ratner has close ties to de Blasio and Clinton. Clinton’s presidential campaign headquarters is in a Ratner building in Brooklyn.
One lucrative lever of the new Tammany system is called the Public Authorities Control Board. According to court testimony, it has no staff, no offices, and has approved “billions of dollars of bond sales.” In a 2006 meeting that lasted just five minutes, the PACB approved Ratner’s Atlantic Yards proposal, despite mounting opposition to the project. The price tag: $4 billion.
PACB approval opened the door for Ratner to receive taxpayer-backed benefits and financing. The benefits included an immediate cash injection of $100 million for “new infrastructure” such as “streets and sewers,” according to testimony by a state budget official in a lawsuit, and a later $511 million sale of tax-free bonds.
Ratner received state-backed financing and $726 million in “special government benefits” – your tax dollars at work – to help finance the Barclays Center portion of site, according to an analysis by the city’s Independent Budget Office. The benefits included “direct contributions of cash, capital investment and property; access to tax-exempt financing; exemptions from property, sales, and mortgage taxes, and below market sale” of Metropolitan Transportation Authority land, the IBO report said. Despite all that, Barclays looked like a loser for the city. The arena would “cost the city nearly $40 million more in spending” than it would generate in tax revenues, the report said.
In 2014, Ratner sold an ownership stake in Atlantic Yards (excluding the Barclays site) for $208 million. The buyer: Shanghai-based Greenland Holdings, a company controlled by the Chinese government. In a move of Orwellian audacity, Ratner and his new Chinese partners promptly changed the name of the site from Atlantic Yards to Pacific Park. Greenland “now reaps the benefit of the subsidies, tax breaks and cheap land that Forest City Ratner wangled for the project in the 2000s,” wrote Norman Oder, a Brooklyn journalist who chronicles the project on the watchdog blog, Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park Report
Public money, private profit, promises unkept: in that sense, the old Tammany system is not much different from the new one. It took reformers decades to crush old Tammany. In April, in a sharp warning to de Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo, U.S. Attorney Bharara told Common Cause New York that he would “keep looking hard at corruption,” not just in the legislative branch, but in the “executive branch too, both in city and in state government.”
Micah’s bold expose of apparent massive corruption at the highest levels of government in America’s largest city should outrage all who are appalled by political pay-for-play schemes. That’s why we are demanding records from the mayor’s office for the timely production of materials relating to this controversy. We will take it to court if necessary, because the public has a right to know. In the meantime, please read (and share) our major investigative piece here.
