These middle and South American children are supposedly fleeing oppressive, unhealthy dictatorial countries for a better life in USA. When/if they make it to America they become "anchor babies", thereby giving their entire families an open invitation to flood across the border. Somehow that makes them all legal dumocrats.
If conditions are so bad in their homelands, where are the leftist humanitarians at the UN? Shouldn't they be working to improve living conditions in those countries? No, their plan seems to be "let them flood into the US and make the wealthy Americans take care of them". We can put them on welfare programs so they can (in comparison) live like royalty, and we get to pay for it. They don't even have to get jobs, learn English or be contributing members of society. With billions of people living under the rule of evil dictators are we supposed to let them all flood across our borders bringing their cultures, religions, traditions and laws (ie, Sharia Law) with them? If not all of them, 70%? 50%? 20%? How many billions can we support? We should help but in their country, not in ours.
The worldwide, far left, pseudo humanitarian UN remains quiet. Leave it up to the US to do (and pay for), just like they do with every other problem in the world.
